On-On in the Lou since ‘83
The St. Louis Hash House Harriers (STLH3) are a diverse group of adventurers who have been keeping the tradition of hashing alive in St. Louis for over 40 years. We are the home for St. Louis runners and walkers who prefer an expedition over a race, shunning the treadmill for the unknown.
Our weekly trails follow the flour wherever it leads, alternating between high-energy urban scouts through the city’s hidden shortcuts and rugged excursions through the “true shiggy” of the Missouri wilderness. Whether we’re navigating gritty city alleys or scrambling through unpaved woods and creek beds, we aren’t here for the PRs—we’re here for the chase.
What to expect:
3–7 Miles of “Shiggy”: Expect the unpaved path—creeks, briars, shoe-sucking muck, and the occasional highway tunnel.
The Hunt: It’s a “hare and hounds” game of strategy and navigation, not a race. There are no winners, only survivors.
The Down-Down: Post-run critiques, storytelling, and social refreshments.
The Cost: $5 for trail snacks, beverages, and questionable life choices.
Logistics: We meet Sunday at 3 PM (Winter) or 5 PM (Summer).
Whether you’re a marathoner or a mall-walker, if you can go a few miles without rest, you’re welcome in the pack.
You have the right to hurt yourself—if you do, it’s your own damn fault.
